Jul. 24th, 2002 08:58 amWell then... See how this catches you for the Batman vs Superman movie....
Colin Farrell is BATMAN and Jude Law is SUPERMAN.
(This is what the rumors are saying at the moment.)
Think about it for a little bit. I'll know on Colin Farrell after I see him as Bullseye in Daredevil. I'll talk about him being Batman after I see that performance. I do know he has the build, the correct eyes and after the Dardevil movie, the moves.
As for Jude Law... You know what? I haven't seen anything from him that sucks at all. I haven't seen Road to Perdition yet, but I've heard that he's really great in that too. He'll be a great Clark Kent. I'm not sure about Superman, but he'll be an amazing Clark Kent.
I'll need to think about this, but it could work. Not unknown, but not superstars either. Hmmmmmmm.

His Batman was good. His Bruce Wayne was ... Bleh.
Re:
Date: 2002-07-24 12:55 pm (UTC)Some sets used to be built at 7/8 scale to make the lead actor look bigger. For example, most John Wayne movies were built with smaller sets, so he would tower over everything. They even hired shorter actors to surround him so he constantly seemed larger than life.
Although, from what I hear, he was only 7/8ths himself in the sack! HAR!
Matt Damon would make a good Clark Kent. Or Vin Diesel.
