Stupid gym... It wasn't open this morning. Wouldn't be open until like 7:30. Way too late for me to workout and then get to work. So, I'm going to have to go to the one at the convention center in the mornings. Not too big of a deal as it is on my way to work, just a little annoying. There is the added bonus that I might be able to get use one of my personal trainer slots down there that early, though, so that would be a good thing.

I'm pondering making an Initiative so Tim Eyman can't make any more Initiatives. I'm thinking that's illegal, though, as unfortunate as that is. I really don't like the man at all.

Got up way early. Feeling kind of jittery. Gonna work out tonight. Looking forward to that in that odd way I do with exercise.

It might be legal to create an initiative barring Tim Eyman from setting foot anywhere in the State of Washington, but I don't think you can shut him up.

Hmmm. Restricting his right to create initiatives is probably against the constitution. I'm beginning to think we should bring back ostracism.

So, there needs to be something concerned citizens can do to stop this man from wrecking more havoc.

Initiative 666, rollback Tim Eyman's changes and then shoot him.

Sponsor an initiative that bars the use of paid signature gatherers, but lowers the percentage of signatures people need to get on the ballot.
Actually, that won't stop Eyman, but it will stop industry.

*ponders*

That is an idea. Hmmmmm.

Ironically, you'd have to employ paid signature gatherers to get it on the ballot.

200,000 signatures is what is required. If they allowed electronic signatures, it would be easy. Hmmmmm...

If I came up with something solid enough, that people I knew could get behind... It might be possible.

Electronic signatures? For petitions? Like the e-mail ones?

Anyway, they don't. All signatures must be on one of their preprinted pieces of paper.

Remember that great idea about making candidates take the WASL? Couldn't get the signatures.

I believe an initiative to the legislature has a lower bar.

*nods* Yeah, like that. I know they don't but it would be easier.

I need to come up with a good solid idea. I have access to two college campuses, easy and I live in downtown Seattle.

Hmmmm. I still like that Tim Eyman can't ever make another initiative idea, but it won't work for various reasons. I could get the signatures and send them to him, but that wouldn't be nearly as effective.

It would be a good stunt, though. Collect signatures during the same season as him. If you can deliver more signatures for yours than he gets for his, that would be hilarious and widely reported. Never mind that it would be thrown out in the courts; it would be a bigger black eye than him getting caught in his lies.
