I don't know if there is anyone who reads this who will be attending SDCC for the first time this year but this is a great read. And it is totally right on.

Man, I'm starting to get excited for SDCC. I think thoughts of SDCC will help me through next week when I'm so busy I'm going to want to scream.

Monday - Rehearsal
Tuesday - Nothing?
Wednesday - Tech Rehearsal
Thursday - Parents arrive, Dress Rehearsal
Friday - Concert Performance
Saturday - Concert Performance
Sunday - Parents leave, Pride parade in support of the Chorus

Then I fall over and die. Or well, just sleep for a few days or something. I have a post brewing in my head about belief. I think.

Erg.

So I started recording some of the Chorus rehearsals in an attempt to better hear everything. I have learned a few things.

I need to get better at not covering up the microphone and/or stop moving it during recording.

Even when I'm singing correctly, I'm not overly fond of hearing my voice alone on recordings. In fact, it sort of makes me twitch.

I think I need to do more of this as I'm pretty sure I'm a little flat consistently.

I whistle better than I thought I did. (In tone quality.)

Mmmmmmm.
