I don't know if there is anyone who reads this who will be attending SDCC for the first time this year but this is a great read. And it is totally right on.

Man, I'm starting to get excited for SDCC. I think thoughts of SDCC will help me through next week when I'm so busy I'm going to want to scream.

Monday - Rehearsal
Tuesday - Nothing?
Wednesday - Tech Rehearsal
Thursday - Parents arrive, Dress Rehearsal
Friday - Concert Performance
Saturday - Concert Performance
Sunday - Parents leave, Pride parade in support of the Chorus

Then I fall over and die. Or well, just sleep for a few days or something. I have a post brewing in my head about belief. I think.

Good post.
Changes (improvements?) to previous year's plans include:
* Power strip for hotel room
* Melatonin (enough to share)
* Naproxen sodium (enough to share, will be in my day pack)
* I'm trying out some non-oxybenzone sunscreens, and intend to bring one

I'll add any parties and events I think are promising to the tripit itinerary, but I think the "nothing we have to buy tickets" for rule is good - except for w00tstock, of course.

Sounds good. I'm thinking of trying to find from Tiger Balm or something like that to put on at night time. I need to remember to bring an ankle brace or Ace bandage because, well, my left ankle hasn't been right since about Germany. While I expect it will be okay before then, better safe than sorry.

Oh well. Bringing actual backpack this year, not shoulder satchel. And more books or some embroidery or something for the lines/panels I don't care about. Also I found my Ralph's card from last year. :)

Not a bad idea at all. Might just faff around in the morning and early afternoon, line up for my badge and maybe have enough time to see some of the exhibition hall before meeting up for dinner.
