HOORAY!

This is a beginning. Obama is not holy, he is not divinity, he is not Jesus nor Muhammed. He is human, he is a politician. He is not perfect. He will absolutely do things I will not agree with. He will again certainly compromise where I wish he wouldn't. I have faith that he is better than what has come before and faith is not faith, I believe, unless it is tested. Besides, as was said, there is nothing false about hope.

Not Obama related at all

At least I don't think it will be.

Columbia Pictures is delaying the release of Roland Emmerich's 2012 from July 10 to Nov. 13, just before the lucrative Thanksgiving session. They say it is because they want a tent pole movie there, like Bond has been. We'll see.

The rumors are that a Veronica Mars movie is starting to move forward. Now, I loved that show but I'm not sure about a movie. I guess I'm just not sure how well something like that would transfer since there were long story arcs wrapped through the seemingly self contained episodes.

The “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” movie is announcing all sorts of casting all over the place, so I guess this movie is actually happening. Who would have guessed? Edgar Wright is lining up all sorts of interesting people. Hrmmm.

Spider-Man 4 (and some say 5) are going to start filming next year.
