Don Carmody is negotiating with Sam Raimi to bring the (Canadian originated) off-Broadway production EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL to the big screen in 3-D. Oooookay.

Michael Fleming over at Variety is reporting that Randall Wallace is writing a script for Will Smith and Columbia. It is called THE LAST PHARAOH based upon (y'know, like Breaveheart was based upon) Taharqa's life as pharaoh of Egypt from 690 BC to 664 BC.
