Stuff and Things, of course
Jun. 14th, 2008 10:56 pmSo, there is another Dark Knight trailer over here: http://www.latinoreview.com/news.php?id=4853 There is a Comcast site out there for the movie and it is pretty sweet.
There is a rumor out there that Robotech finally has a script writer. Lawrence Kasdan. This name may or may not be familiar to you all. It certainly is to me. He co-wrote Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, AND Raiders of the Lost Ark. And if this is the guy they've gotten - I'm so on board right now. So much. (The theme is playing in my head right now.)
So. It looks like the second half of the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica is, in fact, coming in 2009. On the bright side, however, it looks like we're getting more of it than originally planned. It was going to be 10 hours (9 episodes and a 2 hour finale) it looks like we're getting 11 or maybe even 12 hours. The 90 prequel Razor-like movie is all but a certainty at this point. It really looks like they're trying to get as much of this as they possibly can before it ends. (And this is bad ass - http://www.amazon.com/Official-Battlestar-Galactica-Propaganda-Poster/dp/B0013GA7SA/)
The rumors about Captain America casting are flying fast and furious. It seems like they want DiCaprio as Cap. And Brad Pitt as Thor... or Cap if Leo turns them down. I don't think Brad Pitt is Thor. He's much more Hawkeye than either one of the others but then again, I am not a huge Avengers nerd. Anyone of you out there want to make a comment?
Do you want to read the original Darabont script for Indy? It could have been so much better - http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37049
I'm going to see the 3rd Mummy movie. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh sword fight. I'm going to see it.
MTV Movies Blog is reporting that a teaser will be shown for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins before The Dark Knight. Christian Bale, my friends. Mmmmmm.
Speaking of which, the track listings for the soundtrack are out there now for The Dark Knight. There are some small spoilers in there but nothing too surprising.
