Soooo.... UPDATE!
Jun. 10th, 2008 10:00 amGotham City need you to vote! Seriously, people! Go vote! (And read that website. It is chock full of goodness. I mean, where else would you find out about the Wham movie?)
They're making a live action and animated Smurfs movie. First question: Why? Second question: No, really, why? And then you get to trying to cast Gargamel, who will likely be the live action part of this equation.
Brokeback Mountain: The Opera. Yeah. I.... Yeah.
M. Night Shyamalan talks about why he wants to make Avatar: The Last Airbender as a movie: “I loved the characters in the story and I felt like I could be me inside this larger canvas of this very long-form movie. I think it inherently had kind of family issues and serious larger topics — at the center, genocide — all kinds of stuff. Cultural differences at the center. It has Buddhism, Hinduism, things I’m interested in. It does have martial arts in a way that’s not bang bang bang, but more about the person mastering yourself and the things that I love. I took martial arts for a long time. A ten-year-old at the center. That point of view felt good, like I could do my thing.”
Louis Leterrier says he's interested in making more Hulk movies. Let us see if the same can be said for Ed Norton. He /is/ a pretty big Hulk geek, so... It is possible.
