I walked to Westlake on Saturday. This isn't all that strange for me but for some reason it really seemed to kick me around. Then yesterday I did laundry which involved walking to the grocery store, getting more laundry soap, walking back, hauling four loads of laundry to and from the laundry room. It wasn't a crazy lot of work but apparently enough to stiffen up muscles a little bit.

So, I wake up feeling a little sore this morning. What do I do?

I walk to work.

My legs are upset with me. Tough for them.

Now, if I can just keep this going all week. I've discovered a twinging feeling in my left leg that makes me want to laugh. Does anyone else have those sorts of pains that do hurt but your first instinct is to laugh? Sort of like hitting your funnybone, I guess.

I need to find a nice black suit jacket for Marci's wedding. I have a few leads on one but I have to set aside the time to go look and try on and such. I might just have one made. I also need to get the totally awesome velvet skirt I saw this weekend. A skirt I'll actually wear! *gasp*

What else? I need to go down to SCCC and do all of the signing up for and student IDing and fees and all of that for tennis. I'm getting something toward... you know... active. Probably do that the week my bosses are all in Japan. Why is it I want to be active in the winter when it is all rainy and bleh outside?

The Halloween party is coming soon. My costume is almost all together! There is a piece I am anxiously awaiting. Heeee! This is the first time I've really planned something like this out and I'm excited. I hope it all fits correctly.

I think I need a good icon for that. *ponders*
Lust, Caution - playing at the Egyptian. Anyone want to go see it with me?
Elizabeth: The Golden Age - I love Elizabeth as a histroical figure. I'm sure they're play up the romance angle more than I'd like (again) but it will be neat and beautiful.
Michael Clayton - Hearing lots and lots of good things about this.
Nightmare Before Christmas is coming out in 3-D again on the 19th. I can't find a list of theaters. Last year it was Auburn and only Auburn. Meh. The only place I can find listed right now is Puyallup. *sighs*

I'm not sold on 30 Days of Night yet.

Also. Anyone interested in John Carter (Thanks Josh!) of Mars? How about if I add the name Pixar to the mix? http://www.chud.com/index.php?type=news&id=12079

Wow.

(I'm a posting fiend today.)

First Radiohead.

And now, Nine Inch Nails.

From Trent - "Hello everyone. I've waited a LONG time to be able to make the following announcement: as of right now Nine Inch Nails is atotally free agent, free of any recording contract with any label. I have been under recording contracts for 18 years and have watched the business radically mutate from one thing to something inherently very different and it gives me great pleasure to be able to finally have a direct relationship with the audience as I see fit and appropriate. Look for some announcements in the near future regarding 2008. Exciting times, indeed."

I think that this is going to eventually go to two distribution methods. I believe there will be subscription content, like Rhapsody, where you will hear all of your new stuff. Much like radio but with a minimal fee because with Pandora-like things, you'll be able to get music that is geared toward what you're likely to want to hear to expose you to new things. Then you'll get bands like Radiohead and NIN and the larger bands will be able to do it themselves.
