SCI FI has renewed its Peabody-winning signature series "Battlestar Galactica." The Channel will bring the critically-acclaimed series back for a minimum of 13 hours. Production will resume this summer with an eye toward a January 2008 premiere. The decision comes after the series' successful move to Sunday nights.

Huzzah!

Now - bring me the renewal of Veronica Mars!
IGN is running a rumor that JJ Abrams is locked in to direct THE DARK TOWER series, but there's no word on whether it'll be a series of feature films or a miniseries. It feels more like a mini-series sort of thing but I'm talking serious old school mini-series. Like War and Remembrance.

The BBC reports Tuesday that 22-year-old Britisher Michelle Ryan, who did a five-year stint as Zoe Slater on Britain’s “EastEnders,” will play the comely cyborg and tennis pro Jaime Summers in NBC's proposed re-imagining of "The Bionic Woman."

And... ummmmm... Underdog, anyone?

There is a rumor of a live action Sorceror's Apprentice.

The newest word on FF 2 is that Galactus will not actually be seen but 'his presence will be felt'. Whatever that means.

There will be a longer cut of Troy coming out. Apparently about 30 more minutes. I hope that either there is all of that frontal male nudity that was obviously cut out OR there is a whole different ending where Achilles says to hell with the girl and dies before the horse.

300 will be at the Cinerama but tickets aren't for sale yet. WHO IS WITH ME?!?!?
