I'm doing exercises with my rubber band ball and the other people in the office are looking at me strangely.

Heh.

Does anyone know of something I could do to get the back of my upper arms? Not the shoulders, but the muscle on the bottom when the bicep is on the top...

Still need to figure out leg exercises to do while sitting at my desk.

Triceps

Push-ups work, actually. Which is why I have no strength in my triceps.

Well, right now I can't do any push-ups until my lower back stops screaming at me. Maybe next week I can start doing them again. Right now leg lifts, crunches, kicks, push-ups and all of that are out of the picture.

Ew... what did you do to your lower back?

I'm not sure. I was walking out of my apartment Friday morning and my lower back stopped working correctly. It hurt very much and Vicodin became my friend again.

I'm much better today. I think I'll be better later this week, but I don't want to try to do anything strenuous to it until I'm sure.

OK put your elbow straight up like you are pointing at the ceiling with it. The back of your hand touches your shoulder. Put yer weight in your hand and move your hand from your shoulder to pointing at the ceiling. am I making sense? (I used to do this exercise with a can of soup haha)

Yes, actually. Thank you. That'll work well.

This is a good tricep exercise (the muscle behind your bicep..in the back of your arm):

Stand away from your chair (back to it) and make as if you are going to sit down at it (bend your knees). Place your hands on the edge of your chair (knees bent in front of you), so that your arms are supporting your weight. Dip your body down towards the floor (butt going down) while keeping your legs bent. Then pull yourself up in the same manner using your arm muscles. This works your tricep muscles.

*nods* Mmmmmmm. I'd forgotten that one. Like pushups, but different.

in last month's Cooking Light, they have an article about that very thing. Remind me and I shall bring it by -- they demonstrate several exercises.

Thanks. That would be really awesome. I have tons of leg exercises and some for my abs and one for my butt, but I'm not coming up with many for my legs that aren't entirely silly looking. (That and I am working with limited space.)
