Dec. 9th, 2004

You know, I thought yesterday was kind of lame. It takes a day like today to teach me that days like yesterday are but small bumps in the road of life. I'm currently very amused by life because I think were I not amused, I would cry.

So. I get up early so I can get to work early because there is this review thing at 8:00. I like to get into work at 7:30 to start with, so getting in earlier was a good plan. I get up, take a shower, get dressed. Take care of Morla, clean up the kitchen some and head out to my car. Yeah. You guessed it. Here is problem fun number one. I start the car. Everything seems grand. Then... for whatever reason, the button on the shifter won't go in. I cannot change the car from Park to anything else. Mind you, I have had this problem before and it is normally just a temporary thing... a quirk of the car. Not so this morning. Tracer X is going no where. So, Sean, I appologize for my car being where yours should be when you get home this evening.... because I can't move it.

I get on the bus, which is late, and head downtown. The bus almost crashes into a Cadillac and we stop and hang out on Aurora for awhile to make sure everyone is okay and then move on. I get to work... a bit late. Like... 20 minutes late. Luckily my part in the review hadn't started yet. Once it does, there are problems. Nothing I can't fix but my boss' boss' boss is sitting in since his flight to the conference everyone else is at got cancelled. Wheeee. Look something is wrong and it is in my area so... Yeah. That's great.

The clip on my badge holder shattered as I was getting coffee.

I'm hoping this is done for the day. I really... Things tend to turn around as the day goes on. I can imagine way for this to get worse but they start boardering on ludicris really quickly and involve some sort of personal injury.

I knew I'd been handing out luck and prayers to people. I just hadn't realized I was running quite this low.

*sigh*
(Hockey) I love Shanny. There is no hockey but he's still working to make it a better game. Go Shanny, go. I think the shoot off is a great idea, btw.

The European Batman poster? MUCH COOLER.

Babylon 5: Memory of Shadows starts filming in the UK in April. A really live big screen movie. We'll see if that has any power to it at all..

Sam Raimi is all over the place. He's working on a remakr of Army of Darkness. (Like Evil Dead 2 but for Army of Darkness....) and has Spidey 3 and says that he wants to do more of both... if the riht offers ceom along. Well... Whatever. I enjoy his stuff.

Cars (The Pixar movie in front of The Incredibles) has been pushed back from November 2005 to June of 2006. They're planning on having it done on time, they just say they want it to be a summer movie.

Iron Man is having a hell of a time casting someone for Tony Stark. All of the people who want to play the part or who they want to play the part are committed in the time frame they want to shoot the movie. So.... they'll keep looking. (Oh. The director says Tony /must/ have the mustache.)

The script for Wolverine is good. The directors they're shopping make me cry though. The man who made Underworld should never get to make anything again, let alone Wolverine.

Dakota Fanning will next be in Charlotte's Web. Currently she's filming War of the Worlds.

Trailers:
The New World, a movie about John Smith.
Bewitched doesn't show anything, really.
The full Mr. and Mrs. Smith trailer. Looks like lots of fun. Sexy!
The Merchant of Venice, oh so pretty.
House of Flying Daggers, which I must see.
The Phantom of the Opera, which looks very pretty if nothing else.
The Heffalump movie looks so cute....
And finally, The Aviator which looks like Leo's best work in awhile, I think.
So... Things look like this:

Finding Neverland is at the Meridian 16 (over Gameworks) at: 12, 1:20, 2:30, 3:50, and 5:10 (I figure we don't need any later)

The other two movies are at Pacific Place.

Ocean's Twelve: 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
Blade Trinity: 1:15, 2:15, 4:15, 5:15

I was thinking of starting with Finding Neverland at 12 and then grabbing either Ocean's Twleve or Blade Trinity at their 2 something showings and then grabbing the one we didn't see after that. (Around 5.)

How does that sound?

I'll e-mail Jenn and Adam because they'll likely not see this.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Willy Wonka trailer!

Hee hee hee.

Okay. Sleep time.
