Morning...

Well, I can't remember the strange dreams I had last night. I know I had them again because I woke up in the middle of saying something to someone but I can't remember what. Blarg.

Picked up my comics yesterday. Some good, good stuff. Astonishing X-men is quite, quite Joss and yet still very X-men. It made me smile. The new Richard Dragon made me smile. I've heard the complaint that it isn't the Richard Dragon we knew before... It's been ten years (when he trained Oracle) since anyone's seen him. Even in comic books, that's a lot of time. Plenty can happen in that time.

Anyway... My run down of Richard Dragon #1:

So.... Yeah. My morning. I love it when I get all high profile all of a suddent around here. Time to get back to that.

Poker Night....

So far the turn out RSVPd is less than spectacular. Is there a date that would work better for all of you other than the 4th of June?

(Apparently, Cody and I and poker are not more mighty than Harry Potter. That's okay.)

Starcrossed is Saturday! Justice League season finale, finally!

There is a campaign begining for the restoration of Superman II. It's kind of complicated, what happened with the movie, but the released movie isn't at all what was originally intended. There is a run down on what happened and the letter writing campaign here.

All of the reviews I've seen for Harry Potter have been amazingly, overwhelmingly positive.

There are wheels in motion for a Buffy cartoon series. The premise behind it is that they'll go back and show Buffy's Sophomore year in high school again - as it was reenginered by those zany moks that created Dawn. There have been voices recorded but at the moment it is only for a promo sort of thing to pitch to networks.

You know, for a show that's cancelled, Buffy is getting a lot of press recently. It was on the cover of TV Guide recently... There is a conference comitted to papers (190 of them) specifically on Buffy... (In Nashville for those of you in the area...)

There are rumors flying about casting for Superman and Fantastic Four. I haven't seen anything I'd consider good news on either yet. If you really want to wince, I can send you links but... I'd rather just spare you all the horror.
