Wheeeeeee.

Talking to people is nice. Talking to Cody last night I was finally able to piece something together in words.

I am running a little low on mental energy. Well, that isn't exactly it. I am running low on mental energy for anything that isn't work. I have lots of big important things that I'll be doing at work from between now and ... some time in May. (The new stress level of work is also why my stomach hasn't been happy with me. I know. I'm a genius.)

So. If I seem a little out of it or a little less than sparkling in person, that's why. I'm not only having to think at work but I'm having to think, improvise, bluff, prove... Help plan out the new direction of a department. So, it may take awhile for me to kick it into the gear where not only can I do all of this but do it not just want to come home and hide in my room and do things that don't take serious thought.

This is also why it has been amazingly easy for me to slip into daydreams, books, movies, comics and MUSHing the past few weeks. I turn off the portion of my brain that I use at work for most of those things and wander around in something else entirely.

When this system works at optimum levels it means that the parts I'm not using at any given time are still processing and giving me excellent ideas when I come back to them.

If only I could figure out what sleep cycle my body wants to be on. I was comfortably at five - six hours. Now its all different again. Rar.

Gym tonight.
Cinescape and The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that Liam Neeson will star opposite Christian Bale in Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming Batman movie being directed by Christopher Nolan and written by David Goyer. Liam Neeson - Ra's?

So, not only is Comcast trying to buy out Disney but Viacom, TimeWarner and... Pixar have all decided to throw in their hats and give things a try. Wouldn't that be funny? Disney owned by Pixar? Ah. Poor Walt. Poor Roy.

Cinesite (Europe) Ltd has been awarded all of the digital effects for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which starts shooting at Elstree Studios in April, 2004. They've done the special effects for Harry Potter thus far.

Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will join George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, and the rest of the all-star ensemble cast of Ocean's Eleven in its much-anticipated sequel, Ocean's Twelve, scheduled to begin production this April. Can you imagine? If some horrible thing happens on the set of this movie, just about every sure box office draw out there now will just be gone.

The Feb. 25th episode of Angel will be written and directed by Joss Wheadon. Watch out.

Geroge Lucas makes me sad. First he rejects a script for Indy 4 that Spielberg and Ford both loved. Then ... well... I'm just glad I have my pre-Special Edition VHS tapes, even if they are starting to be a little worn. Will I get the Star Wars DVDs? Probably. I don't know if I can help myself but... I won't be giddy about it.

Next week will be a lovely comic books week.
