So slow... like molasses....

Getting up this morning was .... just a pain. I had made a nice coccoon and it was warm and comfortable and... leaving it was rough. It was harder because I was the only person in the house at that point. Why did that make it harder? I don't know. It just did.

I went to meet Alex Ross last night. He's a really nice guy, for all that I met him for like five minutes. We chatted a little bit and I got my stuff signed. The man two people in front of me had turned out to have been his best friend in the sixth grade. They'd lost track of each other over the years after the friend had moved away. That was pretty neat to see.

I have decided that Cody is not the biggest wuss the world has ever seen. No, no. That would be Charles VII of France. Reading this book Kris got me for Christmas just makes my heart hurt. What an indecisive git. I have no idea why God wanted him to be King because it seems Joan would have been better served by just about anyone else in France at the time.

Sometimes you stop and look around at the people around you and wonder. I find myself wondering about change a lot these days. Everything changes, especially people and sometimes you have to wonder at it. Sometimes you wonder, because of who others have become, if you ever knew them at all. In some cases that is a very scary thought. I, personally, feel as though I am changing for the better, though it is taking me back to decisions I made over fifteen years ago in some cases.

Sometimes you can just shore things up and move on. Other times you have to knock it all down and start over again. I seem to be doing a combination of both. So far it seems to mostly be a bloodless coup, which is a very good thing.

I would like to announce...

.. that Lime Diet Coke, while cold, is excellent.

While warm... not so excellent.

Entertainment news...

Can I start off by mentioning that Lucas drives me nuts? Knight of the Old Republic looks pretty cool but.... There are rumors floating around about 7, 8 and 9. Normally they'd just be brushed off, but ... Well, go read for yourself.

There are a ton of trailers out there. Some of these I have told you about before, some not. Some I wouldn't recommend watching either way.

Believe it or not, Luke Cage is getting his own movie. Will it work? I have no idea but expect it in 2005.

Century Fox's Elektra movie is targeted to shoot during Jennifer Garner's hiatus from Alias at the beginning of the summer for 2005 release.

Bits and bobs...

Alexi Murdoch. Excellent first CD. Go pick it up, find it, listen to him. It's soft, a little mellow but very pleasant. Only four songs, sadly, but still good. I guess you'd call him folk... *shrugs*

Golden Age is buying old comics again. I should go through my collection and see if there is anything that I'm willing to part with. I'm sure I can find things that I don't want to hold on to any more. Can probably get rid of all of my Cable.. X-men 2099... Yeah, I should sell them off and empty out a box or so.

There comes a point in my reviewing myself where I feel as though I haven't ever done anything useful. I hate that point. It means that I have to get up and walk away for at least 30 mins before I can do anything useful on the review, seperate myself from myself as it were.

Goals are the hardest part of this review. Everything is changing so much, I have no idea what might actually be a realistic goal. All of my goals from the last review are obsolete and were obsolete a month after the review because of my promotion and the revamping of the department.

I've resorted to coffee. Bler.
