Wow...

Dec. 30th, 2003 06:33 am
It's cold out there. 27 degrees when I woke up this morning. At least we're supposed to get snow out of it tonight and tomorrow. If the weatherman is not lying to me, at least. Which he may just be.

I woke up this morning 10 minutes before my alarm was supposed to go off. Of course since I have my clock set 40 minutes fast it took me a few moments to realize that, no, I was not late. That's why I have it set ahead like that. Somedays it is enough to make me really wake up.

Of course, it doesn't help that I woke up with words on my lips. I think I was in the middle of saying something or I was about to say something to someone and it was very important. I cannot remember what it was. I have no idea what I was dreaming but that isn't the first time that's happened to me in the past few weeks.

Gatekeepers last night was amazing. For the moment, I think I'll leave it at that.
Night Court Quiz here )
And everyone needs a little more Ewan McGregor in their morning. The last one is the best, I think.

Today is review writing time. WHeeeee! I love doing this so much.
I find myself very tired.

Man. How lame.

Reviews and meetings and... Tired.
Where is everyone today? It's quiet out there.

*shake shake*

Hallooooo?

Anyway, had a lovely lunch with Brian. Had a moment that was really quite cathartic in the end though I needed to have some time afterwards to realize it. It also shows that I am coming further along with my quest to find some middle ground. I know I'm a creature of extremes but it really isn't so good for me.

And maybe there isn't a middle ground, maybe there are just two sides of a chasm. But that could be okay too once I get used to jumping over.

Need to write some e-mail. Yes, yes.
From Jaqueline Carey's webpage:

"I've been promising significant news for some time now, and although it took a while to work out the details, I do at last have news to deliver. As I've said before, I've been considering a return to Terre d'Ange for a few years. A lot of savvy readers guessed what direction I'd be going after the end of Kushiel's Avatar, and it's now official. I'm happy to report that I've accepted an offer from Warner Aspect for a new D'Angeline trilogy in which Imriel will feature as protagonist and narrator."

That will be quite a bit of interesting fun.

And, I know, I'm slow for those who've known for awhile.
Do you? Do you know what gets to me?
What is getting to me right now?

I hate waiting for e-mail I know is coming but I don't know when.

Drives me crazy.

Augh!
