Nov. 25th, 2003

I've been doing a lots of thinking. I know I've been saying that a lot but it is very true. I am doing a lot of thinking. I will randomly come up with answers to things - typically just before I go to sleep. It's why I'm so tired this morning. Sometimes there are no specific thoughts, just thinking is too loud inside my head for me to be able to sleep.

I would like to express my appreciation to Chris for running a marvelous game last night. I wasn't in it and I was distinctly moved. Running a game set in New York for 9/11 could have been a horrible wreck. He handled it with grace and class and a distinct sense of tragedy, horror and respect. It tied into a lot of things I have been trying to pin down in the nature of shock and how people react to it, how I specifically react to it.

I'm going to open up a notepad window and write out something. I'll see if I post it here or not. Right now I don't know. If I do I'll probably make a specific filter for it. The usual suspects (you know who you are) will of course be in there but anyone else wants in, let me know.

On a lighter non-work, non-personal psychotherapy note, X2 comes out on DVD today. Yeah!

And work is ... well... Pretty much hell this week. Good thing its a short week.
(I've written two pages so far. I'll probably post it later.)

From Variety - Oscar-winning actor Michael Caine has agreed to play the role of Bruce Wayne's trusted butler Alfred in Warner Bros.' new Batman movie.
Lots of stuff this way. )
