The current rumor is that if Revolution Studios can get the rights from Universal there will be a Watchmen movie. The rumors go further into saying that there is a tentative signing of John Cusack to play Nite-Owl.
Warner Brothers wants Clint Eastwood to do another Dirt Harry movie. I don't know how that would go, but I can see it.
Christian Bale, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Ironside star in The Machinist - a thriller about a man whose chronic insomnia is making him paranoid whilst it seems someone is conspiring to slowly drive him insane.

Brit screenwriter Peter Briggs ("Alien vs Predator", "Hellboy") has recently completed 2 drafts of "Highlander 5: The Source" for Miramax and producers Peter Davis and Bill Panzer. Briggs replaced "Highlander: Endgame" writer Joel Soisson.

I reported on that showing of Star Wars at the film festival in LA? Well, apparently the version shown there had /even more/ changes from the Special Edition released on VHS. There has been more work on the special effects and some things added in. *sigh*
Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ will open in the United States on Feb. 25, 2004, which is Ash Wednesday on the Christian calendar, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
