Ahhhh... Weekend.

It was a good weekend, filled with plenty of fun stuff. I'm not going to give you a blow by blow recap, but I have a few things I must now do. Some of them involve comic book shops and that is awesome. I need to do some pondering. Yes, indeed.

Need to prepare some for Halloween. I need to dye my hair, shave my legs... You know, things like that. That and need to clean the house and get the curtains up, hopefully.

I'll post directions for those that need them later in the week.

For now I have work. Bleh. I am hungry. I should go get something to eat.

Yeah... That's right...

This is already looking like it won't be a fun week here at work. Makes me really happy I have Friday off and a party that evening.

If anyone has decorations they want to bring or put up or anything like that, that's cool. I'm not much for decorations, personally. That and I don't have enough money to buy many - just enough so that things would look silly.

There will be food. There will be drink. There will be people asking for keys. I don't wnat anyone driving home who shouldn't be doing so. There will be plenty of crash space for those who need it.

And now... I go back to work. *sigh* God, this is depressing.

Entertainment things...

A little bit of time out of my day... It'll make me feel better.

The current rumor is that if Revolution Studios can get the rights from Universal there will be a Watchmen movie. The rumors go further into saying that there is a tentative signing of John Cusack to play Nite-Owl.

Warner Brothers wants Clint Eastwood to do another Dirt Harry movie. I don't know how that would go, but I can see it.

Christian Bale, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Ironside star in The Machinist - a thriller about a man whose chronic insomnia is making him paranoid whilst it seems someone is conspiring to slowly drive him insane.

Lions Gate and Artisan Entertainment are expected to announce as early as today the sale of Artisan to the Canadian-based entertainment company.

There is a rumor of another Phantom movie. The last one was just so great...

Brit screenwriter Peter Briggs ("Alien vs Predator", "Hellboy") has recently completed 2 drafts of "Highlander 5: The Source" for Miramax and producers Peter Davis and Bill Panzer. Briggs replaced "Highlander: Endgame" writer Joel Soisson.

LatinoReview has revealed the narration in next week's trailer for Troy (In front of The Matrix Revolutions) - "There is a legend twenty-eight centuries old that tells of a queen who betrayed her King and the warrior he called upon to lead a war for vengeance. If love is worth fighting for it has known no greater battle than this".

The Mask of Zorro 2 has been greenlit for a 2005 release. They have the director of the first one back and are working on signing Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas.

Jinx (the James Bond spin off) will not be happening.

Halle Berry says her Catwoman is the sixth - out of nine apparently - and that leave room for the other Catwomen that have been. You know... The good ones. How do you get to six, anyway?

I reported on that showing of Star Wars at the film festival in LA? Well, apparently the version shown there had /even more/ changes from the Special Edition released on VHS. There has been more work on the special effects and some things added in. *sigh*

Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ will open in the United States on Feb. 25, 2004, which is Ash Wednesday on the Christian calendar, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

I am buying this just for the stuff on here. If there is anything else good on it, so much the better. This might have just saved my entire day.

I recommend listening to Tetsujin, In My Head and Navaras. (Navaras just keeps going and going and going and it's all great.) Neodammerung and Spirit of the Universe are also way up there.
