The Man in Black has died. Bye Johnny.

John Ritter has also died. His death is more shocking in the details.

What a thing to wake up to.
It was a slow night. Kris and I went to the grocery store and ended up getting good and yummy food. Sometimes cheese and bread is a good thing.

Watched some episodes of Highlander. They were from the two season I didn't watch it. It was on at some time where I was doing something else in college. That something else could have been any number of things but was likely gaming. I don't mind. Man. I didn't like Ritchie at all but that is a really lame way to die. Watching MacLeod offer up his sword to Methos and having Methos walk away... Man. Good stuff.

I also learned that Adrian Paul has an English father and an Italian mother. I find myself somewhat amused by this. Adrian Paul is quite, quite sexy.

I went to bed early so I could come in early to get work done before I go off to get my teeth drilled on. *shudder* Man. Lame.
The WB has ordered a pilot for a new series based on DC Comics' “fastest man alive," according to Variety. It sounds interesting, but wacky. According to Variety piece, the Flash will each week be sent on a time-travel mission to the past or the future. (Yes, the Flash is fast enought to do that but it's not like he does it all the time.)

The last MTV Spider-Man is tonight. No word on a continuation of the series or not.

Lost in Translation is a new movie with Bill Murray. It looks really, really good. I want to go see it. a quote from a review on Comingsoon.net: "Bill Murray plays rundown movie star Bob Harris, in Tokyo to do commercials for a Japanese whiskey company. His inevitable jetlag and problems sleeping are compounded by an impending mid-life crisis and family troubles back home, forcing him to spend his free time drinking at the bar. There, he meets Charlotte (Johannson), a young woman tagging along with her photographer husband (Ribissi). The two strangers strike up a fast friendship as they travel through the streets of Tokyo, experiencing the strange culture of the city together."

Bits and pieces of things elsewhere - Family Guy movie is given a go.

Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire rumor: A four hour single movie with an intermission looks like it might be on the cards for the fourth 'Potter' movie according to Wizard News.

Thanks to [profile] thezzyzx on this one.

I want to support this bill.

"To restore a vision for the United States human space flight program by instituting a series of incremental goals that will facilitate the scientific exploration of the solar system and aid in the search for life elsewhere in the universe, and for other purposes."

Reading the goals section makes me a little giddy.
If you're going to Once Upon a Time in Mexico and bought a ticket today using the link I posted, make sure it was for the correct day. The link I put up is now showing tomorrow, Saturday, when you go to it!

I appologize for any possible mistakes or confusion.
