lithera: (Love you)
Some of my DVDs are missing. I am disturbed by this. I cannot remember loaning them out, though that is possible. There are three of them I cannot find. This makes me a sad person. Sad, sad.

The batteries in my remote for my DVD player had also disappeared. I'm begining to wonder if there is something going around and displacing things. Say what you want but there was a long period of time in my life where things in my house would randomly disappear and appear in places that made absolutely no sense at all.

Hmmmmmm. It makes me think some.

In other news, I am getting a good work out explaining to people why they can't play the cracked out things they want to play. No, you can't have the amazingly strong, invulnerable character with absolutely no weaknesses. No, your druggy raver run away cannot go to the elite private school. No, your powers cannot come from anything having to do with aliens. Oi.
Apparently since Sony is having legal issues with Marvel still, the title The Amazing Spider-man may no be useable for the sequel. They're trying to come up with something else.

Garfield the movie moves on. They've cast Bill Murray as his voice. CG Garfield - live action Odie. Eeeehhhhnnnn.

Oh dear... They're doing another Beverly Hills Cop within the next twelve months. Well, it would be impossible for it to be worse than the third movie. Just impossible.

Here's more good news for fans of Ridley Scott's Alien. The movie will be re-released in about 2,000 theaters on October 3 and, as was reported, will include previously cut footage. They're adding atleast 12 minutes back in. If this re-release is successful, you can expect James Cameron's Aliens to get the same treatment next Spring.

There will be a 10-minute preview on disc 2 of the Two Towers set for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

The Nightmare Before Christmas director Henry Selick talked to Suicide Girls (suicidegirls.com) about his adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Coraline. HS: I just finished a polish on the third draft, which was accepted. The producer really likes the screenplay and I hope to go into pre-production in January.

Jet Li has been signed to do a new movie, Labor Day. (You don't need to know the premise. It's not that great. The only reason to see it is Jet Li.) If only they could sign him to Green Hornet. C'mon. It would be near perfect.

Upper Deck has released preview images of its Hulk trading card set, including the first image of Lou Ferrigno from the movie. Ferrigno, who played the Hulk in The Incredible Hulk television series, plays a security guard in the film.

Go here. Lots of in-jokes about the current run of X-men but... still funny.
There is the wild chance the Avalanche could sign Jean-Sebastien Giguere after this season now that Roy has retired. He is a Group II free agent. They could offer him things that the Ducks can't match.

Fear.

Oh... fear.
For those of you who love Trogdor... Go here.

This is an audio edit contest, kind of like a photoshop contest, but with sounds.

So... enter the Trogdor song.
I'm going to try to make a cd - for me. It is hard to think of songs for me from before like Jr. High. I think it's because I didn't listen to much music then.

Though I have some ideas.

Suggestions accepted.

Funny, funny. I love this sort of stuff. It's even better since Bezos is in it. What would it take to get himn to write this book, you think?

With this and the new uber fudge flavor of Yoo-Hoo, it's turning out to be a real Dark Metal sort of day.

Strange that.
