Strange...

My weird dream. Not for those squicked by needles or blood. )
Last night was pretty good. I enjoy vaccuuming. Maybe I'm strange but I've always enjoyed it. It is calming and soothing to me in a way that not too much else is. Maybe I'll figure that out sometime. Buffy was nice. It didn't end up totally and that was fine. I like an open world. If for no other reason that it leaves everything open for my imagination. And you know what? Angel was the best I've seen him in years. And I need to think it out some more, but I have a theory, as it were.

I'm finding myself more honestly comfortable around people again. I'm letting down my shields again and to be quite honest, I have no idea what changed or when. There is less of the watching myself from a distance. I'm more comfortable with touching as well. Maybe I'll figure it out some time.
In the immortal words of Keanu - Whoa! (From AICN) ADV Films, who released the Neon Genesis Evengelion anime series in the US has announced that they are working with the series producer Gainax and the great digital effects company Weta Workshop, Ltd. to produce a live action feature film based on the longlived series. The "Neon Genesis Evangelion" live-action motion picture is now in the earliest stages of its development. CEO Ledford has confirmed, however, that the project's timetable is an "aggressive one", and that more information on the futuristic fanasy film is forthcoming soon. (I have faith in WETA. Wow. The potential of this is just boggling.)

The rumors for Batman are flying. However, there is one that Chris Nolan and Heath Ledger had a long, long talk the other day. For a Year One Batman, there are plenty of ways to go worse than Heath Ledger. Make the hair black, he's got the chin and the eyes... It could work. I want to see Ned Kelly first, though.

Here is something on M Night Shyamalan's new one. Interesting.

Helldorado's name has changed again to The Run Down. (It was something else before that.) Anyway, reviews are starting to come in. It's action cheese with The Rock and Christopher Walken. Duh.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico stills are starting to come out. Antonio is looking smooth. And Johnny Depp is looking... Ummmm... Kind of freaky.

According to Variety, Producer Cary Brokaw has secured financing for a $25 million-$30 million feature version of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. The film is being written and will be directed by Il Postino helmer Michael Radford. Brokaw is in talks with Al Pacino to star as Shylock, as well as Cate Blanchett (Portia), Ian McKellen and Joseph Fiennes. *shiver*

MTV spoke with Keanu Reeves: Keanu Reeves' next action hero won't have Neo's steady Zen-like calm, but it was the fiery passion that made the role of Hellblazer so attractive, according to the "Matrix" star. "[It's] his anger. He's angry, but he's got a good heart," Reeves said recently of the comic book badass, whose real name is John Constantine. (Well, he's got that much right.)

I forsee another Death statue in the house... Oh yes... (She's down the page a bit.)

SUPERMAN/BATMAN #1 - Written by Jeph Loeb (How does this man get this much stuff done? Geeze.)

The images for 1602 are lovely. Andy Kubert's work is lovely in these. (And well.. Neil Gaiman. C'mon.)

Terry Gilliam will adapt Peter Ackroyd's twisty novel Dan Leno And The Limehouse Golem, a thriller about a variety hall entertainer who crosses paths with a serial killer (not Jack the Ripper) on the loose in Victorian London.
This is... Ummmm. Strange.

Yes, yes. I know.

Man....

I was looking at Buffy icons.. Some people made some really pretty stuff. (I wanted the hands on fire together...) and was getting a little sad. Then... Then... 'Logan and Rogue' came on my mp3 player. (The music in the background when he's holding her, hoping she's not dead.)

*sniff*

Maaaaaaan.
