This snow in March thing always catches me off guard. The plants are waking up, it's my birthday... It shouldn't be snowing. That said, expect some, at the very least slushiness, later this week. (Results vary on elevation for one.) I'd say Friday/Saturday.

Bah.

Oh yeah. There will be lots of rain as well.
But that shouldn't be a surprise.

I'm a bit sleepy. Last night's soup was astoundingly good. Yum, yum. Yeah Kris! Good food.
Moviehole tells us that Extreme Sports enthusiast and Bike Champ Jono Porter's friends were cast in Fox's Mad Max: Fury Road... "Porter told me they will be part of a large group of actors cast as Max's warrior enemies. "You know in the previous movies how they've got all the warriors on bikes and that in the desert, we'll that's what they'll be doing this time. There is six of them, all playing warrior dudes.""

Columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith report that Chicago producer Marty Richards has three more possible adaptations in the works. He is working with New Line about a hip-hop-tinged feature version of "The Life," the 1996-97 Broadway musical about Times Square hookers. Also, Richards and songwriting great Stephen Sondheim are laying plans for a feature version of Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd".

The second installment of The Animatrix, titled "Program", is now online in QuickTime format at the official website! Here's how Warner Bros. describes the installment: "In the simulated world of a Samurai training program, CIS, a soldier of Zion, is forced to choose between love and her comrades in the real world."

Apparently there are X2 posters out there with the good guys on one side, the bad guys on another and in the middle there are two black spots with question marks on them. Must go find one of these.

MMmmmmmmMMm. Yes. Someday I will have all the money for the cool stuff.

This is the good stress. It helps me let the bad stress slide away much more easily. When I can worry about these thigns I don't worry about people and those situations. I just deal with them.

The last 150 pages of The Lions of Al-Rassan make me cry. Like every ten pages there is something else that makes me teary. It's so beautiful. I can't explain it.

Someday I want to find someone who understands why I react this way to this book.
