Okay... 3...2...1... Let's Jam...
May. 15th, 2002 08:56 amI think I'm going to judge all movies from here on out by the Keanu factor. My definition of the Keanu factor is: "Something that happens in the movie which makes it so you have to re-establish your suspension of disbelief. This could be an actor, a special effect - anything." A movie is not entirely lost if it has a high Keanu factor, it just changes the scale on which I will rank the movie. The Matrix has, for me, three large moments, two of them by the man himself. Anytime I want to say, "Thanks alot, Ted." typically counts. I hvae yet to develop this to a 1 - whatever sort of scale. I think it will be 1 to 10. One being it held my suspension of disbelief throughout the entire movie and 10 being, "Shut up, Ted." where I cannot get back into the movie it has be entirely ruined for me.
*nods*
I think I will get coffee in the morning fromt he guy who plays the CowBoy Bebop soundtrack. He makes good coffee and doesn't charge me too much. He's like, "Eh. Give me $2.50 and we'll call it good." That and we can chat about anime. It's pretty cool.
There is a list forming of people I want to go out to dinner and have long talks with. Heh. The thing is there aren't enough days to do it. There are enough people that I would love to have long conversations with once a week, that I know there are not enough days in a week to do it. Maybe I'll manage once a month. Mmmmm.
