I'm getting people posting annonymously on old journal entires of mine. I'm deleting them all and logging IP addresses of such things.

I hadn't really wanted to, but it got annoying.

There's a reason that my LJ has ALWAYS been "LJ users only". That way the worst you ever see is if Harry Coacaine Larry stubles across your LJ and posts something...

Yes, but you can still choose to be annonymous when you post. I still won't know who they are. I'll have an IP address though.

go ahead and try to be anonymous on mine. It won't (or shouldn't) work. It should be greyed-out as an option...

did you change it yet?

It's not hard. Go to User Info, Edit Info, The the "Who can reply to your entries" option, and make it registered users only.

That disables anonymous posting.

DAMN! Now I cant write you sexy anonymous things like "I wanna stroke your love muffins." and I cant reply to myself by saying "Where are the love muffins located on the body." And then say "Right by the oven baby, because they're HOT!"
