It was amazing. I woke up this morning and I wasn't tired. I don't think that's happened in weeks. Yeah! It makes me happy. The caffine might make me faintly hyper as opposed to just keeping me awake. This is a good thing.

How are your days?

Hmmm....

OK, got it.

You know the crazed look in a student's bloodshot eyes? The one that demands sleep like a starving wolf demands blood?

So is the look of a nocturnal gamer/computernerd with 8 AM classes clear across town.

Yeouch. Of course, that's about how I look in the morning. You don't want to know when I get up to go to work. Really you don't.

caffiene

Try to quit drinking caffiene. You'll feel more healthy and you wont be so tired all the time once you're through the withdrawls.

I drink a lot less than I used to. Besides I prefer to have caffine as an addiction compare to the other things I could be addicted to. I know I am weak. I prefer to be weak with a comparatively harmless substance.

bah. It makes your teeth go black, gives you cancer, and it makes you cranky. Caffiene sucks. It could be worse, though. You could be addicted to booty. Mmmmmm booty.

I could smoke. I could do crack. There are many thing out there worse than caffine. It dosen't make me cranky. Not getting enough sleep make me cranky.

Not sleeping is connected to the caffiene, Kat. But have your addictions. I learned the hard way a long time ago that you can't break someone's addiction. But it's still unhealthy. So there.

*shrugs* Nah, I just get up at 5 and stay up past the point where I'm tired. Thank you for caring Jamie. I know I should go to sleep at 10:30-11 but often don't go to sleep until later. I know I should go to sleep earlier. I'm tired earlier. I just don't go to sleep. People to talk to, things to do.

The concern is appreciated, though.

So sleep. Take a weekend and sleep. I did it, it helps.

oh the angst

How are my days? Lets just describe the mornings shall we?

I wake up to the bleating sound of my alarm, crying like some dying lamb. So I do exactly what I'd do to a dying lamb that awakes me from my rest, I hit it on the head really really hard. After having silenced it in a like manner some 15 times I am invariably risen from bed to go pick up Richard so we can go to the college chanting masochistic hymns. I spend class time desperately trying to fall asleep but the chairs have been cleverly crafted in such a way that a person standing 6'3" with a large frame is incapable of passing out on them. This is how my mornings go Monday-Friday.

As it was said while leaving class today: "Who the fuck thought up mornings anyway." To which I replied, "Yeah, and that damn sun too."

I don't mind the sun, I've discovered so much as I mind the heat. Heat is bad. I melt. That's bad too. I actually kind of enjoy cool, crisp sunny days.

You see, dear, you're not supposed to sleep in class, thus the annoyance of the chairs. It's still possible though.
