I'm looking for a gym.

Does anyone have any recommendations for one in the downtwon-ish area? I really don't want to have to travel too far out of my way. There are plenty I get discounts with and the like, but I wanted to see if tehre was anything anyone was happy with before I started checking things out myself.

I go to Gold's Gym which is right in the convention center.... also they're opening on up on broadway soon-ish. They currently just have cardio machines in the broadway market but the area where the movie theatre is becoming the new gym.

They have some sort of sign-up special currently too.

I have a discount with the one in the Convention Center, but not with the Broadway one. The Convention Center one would be convenient enough, yet far enough to make it a good location, I think.

How are you treated there? Things good? People nice?

They just got BRAND new equipment at Gold's.. the people are nice and not too many creepy types not to mentiont here's a seperate women only area. PLus if you get a "travel card" you can go to the broadway one... or once it opens... you can go there... once you sign up at Gold's you can go to any one you want to anywhere in the US.

Good to know. That sounds good. I think I'll make a trip down there once I get paid on Friday and sign up. I want to start working out and if I choose a place I have to pass on my way home...
