Well, there are rumors of a team moving to Portland.

Basically, how it would go is this:

- Rigas gives the Sabres to Adelphia, as Adelphia has loaned the team something like $130m
- Adelphia declares bankruptcy. This part is pretty much a given.
- In bankruptcy court, any contracts/whatever can be broken very easily - such as the Sabres' 30 year lease for Marine Midland Arena and their non-relocation promise/contract.
- Paul Allen / random rich hockey person buys the team and moves them.

Pretty easy, eh? ;)

It is. I'm pretty sure we're gonna win it on Thursday. Portland might be getting a team, because Paul Allen wants to move hockey to Portland. If they get the Sabres, I might just have to get a Satan jersey.
