Are they? I wasn't sure because the Bond estate was going to sue them. Did that get settled?

they did... I think they settled by saying that they could do some product placement for another movie (the Bond movie, maybe?)

Yeah, they got it settled. Basically New Line has the right to parody the title (Spy who shagged me, anyone?) MGM will get paid by New Line for whatever reason. Payment will be that MGM trailers will be attached to New Line films, i.e., the Bond movie will preview before Austin Powers.

How many movies can you pack into a movie day? I did four once - Chasing Amy and Grosse Pointe Blank at the mall, followed by Kissed and Children of the Revolution at the art theater. Haven't done so much as two in a day since, alas, since my friends are all lame that way.

Four really is about the limit. You can do five if it is well planned and they're all playing close to each other. Typically three is comfy and four is doable.

They were pretty inexpensive at Costco. :)

I still haven't seen Jay & Silent Bob or Mallrats. I almost bought Dogma yesterday, too, but I figured I could get it a little cheaper somewhere else (it was $22.95 at Best Buy).
