I installed Wizardry 8 last night.

Oooooops.

I love this game. I was playing it until 1:30 and I didn't even notice the time. It has all of the things I've loved about the previous Wizardry games and most stuff. My computer runs it smoothly and it's pretty and I'm enjoying it. So far it isn't too hard, but I have had battle where people die. So lame. Big spider thing ate my bishop. Damned bastard. Killed him later.

So, heh, there is a three day weekend coming up. YeaH! I need sleep.

Mmmmmm. Yeah.

My contacts are going in more easily, but taking them out is still not so great. Arg.

Is it RPG-like? Or more hack and slash your way through mazes like FF series?

Well, so far it is mostly dungeon crawling, but there is such a long involved plot, I am sure there will be RPG aspects one I get out of here. This is Wizardry *8*. There is tons of back story.

Hmmmm... Well, 6 and 7 at least. You can import Wizardry 7 characters.

I remember playing the first Wizardry on my parents' apple 2. What a fun game!
A friend of my brother had hacked the game code so that you could have a paladin (good) in the same party with a ninja (evil).

Then I found Ultima.....and razed towns for fun. :)
