litheraSo Matthew Vaughn isn't directing X-men First Class. Unless he is. There has been a flurry of reports and rumors about how he'll never do it or he's back in negotiations now but really, this time he's done with Fox forevers. I would love for him to make an X-men movie. I loved Stardust and Kick-Ass both in entirely different ways.
There is more information coming out about Fallout: New Vegas. Looks like fun! The reviewers are saying it feels more like Fallout 2 than 3 but at the same time, there is flavors of both. I really can't wait. It'll be fun.
NBC announced that it was picking up the new J.J.Abrams series ‘Undercovers.’ The premise should be a little familiar to you - a husband and wife who have retired from the CIA and launched a catering company find themselves pulled back into the world of international espionage when a colleague disappears. Now, the part of this that is groundbreaking (but really shouldn't be in 2010) is that both of the leads are black. (They're not African American because Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who you may recognize as Tish Jones from Doctor Who is English and Boris Kodjoe was born in Austria.) I'm seriously looking forward to this awesomeness.
Speaking of JJ Abrams and awesome, look for something of his that has been kept VERY quiet to show up in trailers in front of Iron Man 2. Word is, whatever it is will be called "Super 8". I have some thoughts about that but I'm looking forward to being surprised myself.
