litheraOn the trail to re-make or movification - Private Benjamin, Baywatch, Look Who's Talking and Godzilla. I'm not particularily thrilled by any of those. I liked Private Benjamin very much and the remake has Anna Ferris which is at least something. I never cared for Baywatch or Look Who's Talking and Godzilla... Well. We haven't gotten it anywhere near right yet.
Fox says that they did, in fact, talk to Mark Millar about X-men related things but they didn't offer him anything. Huh.
Rumor is someone will die before the end of the season on Smallville. It seems likely that would be a way to handle people who haven't signed contracts for season 10.
There seem to be a lot of this theme of movie coming this summer (The Losers, A-Team and The Expendables) but they're all different in tone. There is a scene in the trailer that I'm sort of sad they show you, even if it does make me smile.
