You know, there was once when I was proud to be a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. There was a time when I agreed with Republicans on a great number of things and still agree with my father about a great number of them, which certainly says something about how the party has changed. I understand that neither party is clean and most of the people I see or hear are the loud and the raucous but the post above is fairly comprehensive on summing up my frustations with the GOP in general right now.

I'm not frustrated with the GOP, anymore I just look over my shoulder and see that their party is being swayed and led by their hot-air loudmouth pundits and are ruled by fear.

Not frustrated, but maybe a touch saddened. Like seeing a really good boxer go to seed after being punched too many times.
