I'm going to watch the new Iron Man 2 Trailer a few more times, I think. More Black Widow, more Justin Hammer and more War Machine. And the hotness at the end. Totally unexpected awesomeness.

The second biggest news out there today, for me, is that JMS (yes, the Babylon 5 guy) will be writing Wonder Woman AND Superman in the next few months - Superman at #701 and Wonder Woman at #601. His Thor was fantastic and I liked most of his Spider-Man VERY much (the parts I didn't like I REALLY didn't like). The artists haven't been named yet but this is pretty cool.

Oh and Ryan Reynolds still won't say the GL oath when asked in public.

Wait, wasn't that just the Widow he was showing his toys off to? Or was that someone else? (If its someone else, I'm thinking hey - could that be our future Wasp?)

Unfortunately, JMS's track run with DC so far has been shit, shit, and godawful shit. So... mixed feelings.

Yeah. I'm in mixed feelings land after reading some commentary he made about Wonder Woman. "As Superman has been for me, so Wonder Woman has been for a lot of women readers, so the chance to dive into that character is something I’m eagerly anticipating. This is a strong, mythic, powerful character who for some time now has been kind of drowning under the weight of her own mythos, so I’m looking forward to paring away some of the layers of debris..." And so on.

On one hand, hooray! He understands that Wonder Woman is important! On the other hand, while I understand what he's saying about her mythos weighing her down, we've had a lot of attempts to liberate her from it in the past decade or so that have just rendered her soulless and adrift.
