Updates and some things...

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher McQuarrie has finished his draft of the "Wolverine" sequel. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Logan but I think the "Logan falls in love and the woman dies horribly" show is ... well... This would be the third time, though Mariko doesn't die, they're still irrevocably separated at the end of things. I think I'm going to have to go re-read that soon. They're planning for a 2011 release date.
Speaking for movies at Fox, it seems that they now have the rights to The Shadow. Man, I have mixed feelings here. I loved The Shadow radio drama. I listened to it all the time when we lived in Japan because, well, it was on the military radio station. The movie with Alec Baldwin... well. There were parts I liked but it was really not that great. This kind of lives along side Flash Gordon for me. Cool things that just seem to get worse the more people try to mess with them.
The Avengers will have a cartoon on Disney XD. Not entirely surprising there.
There have been talks about a Tron tv series (also to be shown on Disney XD) as well as two more movies if Legacy does well enough. I'm excited for the movie that is coming but anything beyond that I can't get too hyped for until I see what they've brought to the table in this movie.
I'm gonna let this quote stand alone: "We're moving into the endgame of the show [and] the stakes have moved beyond, ‘Who's Kate going to pick?' and into, ‘Is anyone going to be left alive?,' says executive producer Damon Lindelof to EW. "I hope [viewers are] going to be satisfied with what we're doing, but we're not writing a romance novel here. I understand in seasons past how that was much more relevant. We're not neglecting it, but there's a lot of fish to fry. The elements of the love triangle - Kate's relationship with Jack, her relationship with Sawyer, Sawyer's relationship with Juliet, who's dead - are a huge part of the season. All that stuff is in play."
Also, just in case you weren't sure, there is no Spider-Man casting, no Captain America casting and no true motion on Batman or Superman scripts that has been announced. A lot of rumors out there but nothing solid.
