Young Justice Cartoon.

*cackles* Okay, so the line up is a little bit of a mix between Teen Titans and Young Justice but I'm seriously signed up for this. HOORAY! (Thanks for grabbing my attention to this [profile] elsewhere7.

Also, Best Picture nominations:
Avatar
The Hurt Locker
District 9
Up
Inglourious Basterds
The Blind Side
Up in The Air
A Serious Man
An Education
Precious: Based on the Novel `Push’ By Sapphire

Might I mention that The Hurt Locker also got a nod for Best Director making James Cameron's ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow the fourth woman to receive that nomination. I, unfortunately, see her walking away with that (making her the first woman to win) while Avatar gets Best Picture. *makes a face*

In other news The Teen Wolf remake is moving forward and the next Bourne movie might well be a prequel.

The line up is all over the place but I don't see any reason not to be hopeful.

I can't believe The Road wasn't nominated.

I haven't seen it. I'm a little surprised on some of these choices but it looks like "The 5 We Liked" and "The 5 They Liked".

The Road is fabulous, but rather depressing. The acting is superb, the setting is believably done and well thought out, and the costuming made me go "huh, yeah, it would be like that".

The only two I've seen on the list are Inglorious Basterds and District 9, both of which are awesome.

Avatar is pretty.
Up is amazing and heartbreaking and yet hopeful - so, in short, a Pixar film.

I really want to see The Hurt Locker since it is rumored to be a great war movie by a woman who is really coming into her own as a director.
