My weekend... and more.

litheraFriday I went to see Legion. It is almost exactly what you would expect it to be - archangel Michael with some pretty impressive looking machine guns and a rocket launcher against lots of posessed people that look like demons but are really angels instead. Good cheesy fun with Paul Bettany. Hooray.
Saturday - Didn't get to walk around Greenlake, alas. Happily traded it for lunch with Tina, Even, Brian and Ian. Did get a lot of walking and standing with Holly, though later with the shopping and talking and walking. Went to the Belgian Beer Fest and had a fantastic time with that as well. Stellar Pizza is much better at Stellar, I think. When I had it delivered before, it wasn't as good - the sauce didn't seem to have the same kick. I found a new favorite brewer - Dick's Brewing Co. out of Centralia. Everything I had from there was fantstic. There were also a few tasty sours as well.
Sunday - Kris and I went to the Seattle Art Museum where I became a member because I only go like twice a year but maybe if I am a member I'll go more often. We saw Michaelangelo's sketches, which were ridiculous. I have no idea how he could draw like six lines and have this amazing looking leg and foot. Even looking at it on the wall, I still have no idea how it would be done. My brain seemingly just does not work that way. I think this also has something to do with how I remember. While I remember how things look in a recognition sort of way, there is no way I could pull up a clear image of just about anything in my head - even people I've known my whole life. Now, if you wanted me to remember someone's voice - I can do that with no issue at all.
So, Mike and Leigh's chocolate party is the 20th. Kyna's birthday party is this Saturday. I have the feeling that something is happening the 13th of February but I cannot, for the life of me, remember what it is. Unless I can remember or someone can remind me, I'm thinking of having our housewarming/Mardis Gras party that day.
Next up on movies - The Wolfman on the 12th.
