October - Usually not much here but this year, seems like September has stolen the empty zone.
Let Me In - The inevitable American version of Let the Right One In. I can't really say much on this one either way. It isn't huge budget and it isn't doing anything wrong... It just seems unneeded. Not everything needs to be in English, people.
Your Highness - Looks seriously funny. Thadeous has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people. Tired of being passed over for adventure, adoration and the throne, he's settled for a life of wizard's weed, hard booze and easy maidens. But when Fabious' bride-to-be, Belladonna, gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar, the king gives his deadbeat son an ultimatum: Man up and help rescue her or get cut off.
Secretariat - About the horse of the same name.
Faster - The Rock plays an ex-con bent on avenging the death of his brother.
The Social Network - I have no idea what the hell this will be like. This is a movie based on the creation of Facebook. It has David Fincher directing and Aaron Sorkin writing but Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake staring. This is so strange.
November
Rapunzel - The next Disney hand drawn movie. This is one that Lasseter saw in mid-prodution and had them start over again. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.
Red Dawn - Yes. That Red Dawn. Chris Hemsworth will be in this too. He's in everything these days.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 - This is really the only movie that counts in November, though. This will be pretty much unstoppable and everyone will have to get out of the way.
December
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - I'm sorry. You're going to get run over by Harry Potter 7. It's gonna hurt.
Tron Legacy - Now we'll be threeish weeks out from Harry Potter which gives this a box office chance. I AM SO EXCITED for this movie. So excited. The light cycles are awesome and I totally need to find my Flynn's Arcade shirt again.
Yogi Bear - Ummmm. Let's move on to...
The Green Hornet - I really, really hope this doesn't suck. There have been so many issues getting this off the ground. Then again, they do say that adversity breeds artistry....
Gulliver's Travels - Jack Black as Lemuel Gulliver. That's at least worth a thought of consideration.
