Romancing the Stone does not need to be remade and it certainly does not need to have Katherine Heigl in it. No.

The Spider-Man 4 rumors are just getting more and more strange. Vulture-ess? Really? Put down the bad drugs, guys.

CHUD has word that the writers of Zombieland might be in the process of being signed to write the Deadpool movie.

The Hollywood Reporter talked to Peter Jackson. He said revealed that beyond Ian McKellen, no other actors have been cast yet. Speaking of Peter Jackson (MARCI! PAY ATTENTION HERE) he is also on board for making the Temeraire book series into a tv series and is working with WETA to nail down all of the look before going much further writing wise.

Elijah Wood and Robin Williams are in negotiations to reprise their roles in Happy Feet 2.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is now scheduled for Jan. 14, 2011 and Priest for Aug. 27, 2010. Moving things around a bit.

Some other bits floating about, like a Dallas remake and a Vlad Dracul movie but just little bits and pieces there.

IMO "Creativity" is DEAD in Hollywood....All these remakes of things that were just fine the first time around......

I don't mind remakes as an idea - if you have something to offer or something different to do or if the first one coudl have been done better.... Or if no one remembers the first one....

*shrugs* I just think that Romancing the Stone was about as perfect as you could have managed the first time.
