There seems to be a lot of writing going on these days. It's an interesting occurance - different people at the same time. I sometimes wonder if I have the dedication to write something longer than 30 pages or so. Some of my ideas could hold up under that much pressure, but I have the intense problem of writing cliches and I know it. I fall into them, not only gladdly, but willingly - until I go back and read it and then I cringe.

I've been reading a lot of writing from different people. Different sorts of writing and different levels of skill. All of these expressions of creativity make me think about how long it has been since I have done any expressing in that vein. I just wonder what I want to do.

I need to go buy embroidery floss. I have pretty things to make.

I still want to write something, though.
