I'm reading "Memoirs of a Gnostic Dwarf" as recommended to me by Rob. So far it is something I think Holly would like very much as it seems to talk about the sex lives of the Pope and people around him in the mid-1500s very much. It is well written and witty but I'm only about 30 pages in from my bus ride this morning, so it is hard to tell where this will end up.

Glee is such a mixed bag for me. Again, like on Lost, the further away from the main characters we are, the happier I am. I'm really tired of all of the baby and couple stuff. The music is still fun. I'm listening to Wicked this morning because of it.

Still waiting on the whole Women's Chorus thing. The webpage hasn't been updated and no e-mail, so I don't know when the tryouts will be. I'm seriously excited by the idea, though. I miss performing music.

Tonight is Cherie's Boneshaker thing. I haven't been able to make it to one yet and I'll be at this one, goshdarnit.

Catie is doing a signing on Dec 2 which I will also make sure to attend. And I may try to kidnap her away but people would probably stop me, curse them. Heh. Maybe I'll bring Chance stuff for her to sign.

A lot of good comics recently. Detective, GLC and strangely enough, the Necrosha thing were all fantastic reads. Hercules continues to be one of my favorites and The Unwritten is still fantastic but I'm starting to feel that I might be better served picking it up in trades to read entire storylines at once.

I suspect the afternoon of the 2nd is going to look a lot like the thing in Anchorage: we'll park ourselves at a coffee shop near the bookstore and hope people come drop by to talk and hang out a while. I'm pretty certain anything else would be madness incarnate.

Well, I'll do my best to get away from work early but... Yeah. It's December. That's not all that likely. I might be fighting to remove the shackle from my ankle at all.

I'm dubious about Necrosha, but I love Blackest Night. It is a mystery.

Doug won me over in Necrosha. I love me some Doug.

Yeah. The part with him in it was pretty sweet. And Irene. I like Irene too.

Also, I only by trades now with the exception of the titles that come with the promo rings and stuff that I'm not sure will be released as trade (the Casper reboot).

Yeah. I'm starting to lean that way but so often trades don't actually collect everything, which drives me batty.

I am digging on Glee. I like the relationship between Curt and his father. The guy supports his son. but is clearly uncomfortable. Hopefully as the series progresses, the father will become less squeamish about it.

Yeah. I really like that relationship very much. It makes me happy.
