There is a pattern here:
Burn Notice
Castle
White Collar

Witty man with decent supporting cast, prefereably involved with crimes some how. It seems this formula, if competant, gets my viewership.

Not only that, but there's a long-term arc going on with each of these. Burn Notice has Michael trying to deal with his burn notice. With Castle you have the romantic tension arc plus the mystery of Beckett's mother's murder. With White Collar, you have the mystery of Kate and the man with the ring.

*nods* Totally. Though with Castle, the arc is a little less solid at this point. I would rather slide away from the tension and toward the murder mystery.
