Sep. 9th, 2009 10:35 amWarner Bros. has officially announced that Paul Levitz is to segue from President & Publisher of DC Comics to writer (on Adventure Comics), contributing editor and overall consultant to the new DC Entertainment, under President Diane Nelson. There had been rumors that the move was coming but there it is, all official. His letter is here: http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2009/09/09/a-letter-from-paul-levitz/
It looks like the lawsuits around The Hobbit have been resolved and we are good for getting the movies going.
The Amazing Race has two Harlem Globetrotters, a guy with Asperger’s, a former Miss America and plenty of other interesting characters. This season will start in LA and go straight to Tokyo for 'zany adventures'.
It seems that there is a new Supermax movie that is an upcoming prison supernatural horror movie, so the Green Arrow movie that was called that, which is supposedly still being developed somewhere, will be called something else.
Nic Cage droppped out of The Green Hornet. He was set to play the bad guy but, even though filming started recently, he hadn't yet filmed anything.
Bloody Disgusting is reporting that they're going to relaunch Resident Evil after this 4th movie. It sounds, pretty much, like going back to the first game and the first movie but with no Milla.

The Live Action Akira movie isn't dead yet, it seems. There are new writers (whoe were involved in Iron man) who are about to turn in a new draft of the script.
Here is your official Princess and the Frog trailer. I still don't know how I feel about this one.
