What can I say it made me laugh. The audio producer was having too much fun with adding fx on her voice: the filter vocoder effect really gave her that cliched pop vocal sound. Which on one hand kinda hid her actual beautiful voice.

Well, he's pretty eclectic in his tastes, and since he was at KPFT with a late night slot, he had pretty free rein. So ... Bowie, the Austin Lounge Lizards, XTC, Yes, King Crimson, Weird Al, Oingo Boingo, Laurie Anderson....

And of course, occasionally he'd play "Detachable Penis."
