A number of vendors from SDCC collected and shipped their booths to New Mexico for the filming of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s movie Paul.

A new “Welcome to Tranquility” miniseries with Gail Simone is coming. Starting with issue #19, Adam Beechen and Tim Seeley will take over “WildCats.”

There is a live action/CGI Rats of Nimh moving coming.

Warren Ellis has been contracted to write an Arthurian legend movie. I'm looking forward to this, having just finished re-reading Planetary. I *heart* Planetary so very much.

It seems that Miley Cyrus wants to play Barbara Gordon. So much so that she's wearing her own Batgirl costume into her meeting.

Jamie Bamber is going to be on Dollhouse.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko on Lost) is trying to sell Marvel on a Black Panther movie.

Geoff Johns is returning to write a Smallville episode featuring the Justice Society of America.

Kwon Sang-woo is rumored to be on the line to play Kato. He looks amazing. I have no idea if he can act but he has a number of movies in South Korea.

I'll put up more as I get a chance. Lots to catch up on. I'm still looking to see if someone snuck out the Iron Man 2 footage. I want to see it but at the same time.... I sort of hope they didn't.

Nolan is pretty much against Barbara or Dick in the movies as crime fighters. Barbara would be like eight and Dick like two or something? We're not there yet.

I'm...kinda intrigued by the Society ep. I wonder what it's gonna be like...and which older heroes they're gonna show. Part of me is hoping for a more classic Canary, but considering the fact that they wouldn't wanna...well, it ain't happening. Probably Ted Grant, Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Carter Hall, and...Dr. Fateor Hourman?
