litheraVariety says, the Sci-Fi Channel is developing a new take on Alien Nation. Tim Minear has been hired to write the update of the franchise. The idea is that it will be 20 years later (much like it actually is) and there will have been extreme population growth in the alien population. Man, I loved that show. I fear the Sci-Fi Channel handling it, though.
