Guillermo del Toro has confirmed in a chat with BBC Radio 5 that Hugo Weaving will reunite with Andy Serkis and Ian McKellen in The Hobbit. Hooray!

Marcus Nispel has replaced Bretttttt Ratttttner to direct Conan. So far he's done some horror remakes but that's better. It has to be better.

Telltale Games is releasing the first season of Sam & Max on Xbox Live June 17 as Sam & Max Save the World. HOORAY!

Bill Willingham says he's writing a Fables prose novel. So far, I must say, I'm enjoying this crossover more than I've enjoyed the comic in awhile.

Over the past year, I've absolutely fallen in love with Bruce Timm. And I realized, as much as I've loved his DC cartoons and as much as I'd love to see him give Marvel a much-needed good cartoon, I have a feeling he could make an absolutely -awesome- Conan animated series if given the chance.
