You say you wanna Revolution...
May. 1st, 2009 09:22 amSo. The state of the me.
I need to sleep more. I am not getting where near enough sleep right now. Admittedly, this is due to things like hanging out with friends and writing long e-mails that I hope are full of sage advice. You never know on that advice thing. Even the best advice can be rendered into crap at the smallest variation in situation.
I'm reading Walking Dead. This is a pretty quick read so far. I'm liking it and I'm finding that Atticus' voice for me is stronger in this one than in Patriot Acts. I have The Pretender's Crown downloaded for me on my Kindle, ready and waiting to be read when I'm done with this one. (And a few others waiting after that.)
I'm looking at houses and while I still have hopes that I might find something that I love, most of the things I'm seeing right now are in my price range because something is wrong with them. Which is unfortunate. I know I could likely live in Tacoma or on the Penninsula comfortably with what I'm qualified for but, really, I know what I want. I'm just not quite there, or so it seems. Still, there is a chance.
My love for The Beatles seems to have resurfaced heavily in the past week or so. The remastered catalog is coming out in September and I'm looking forward to that. As well as the Rock Band experience that is coming. I'm already listening more critically to them when I hear them, trying to hold the individual parts a part in my head as I do.
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah
ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
