"The only winning move is not to play."

While I learned that from War Games when I was like... 6, it only seems to get more true the older I get. There is a lot of social aikido in that concept.

But, on to other things.

Don't forget that May 2nd is Free Comic Book Day! Get out there, get to your local comic shop and get your free comics! Pick up some other stuff while you're out there. And not knowing where one is, is no excuse - http://www.freecomicbookday.com/fcbd_locator.asp

On May 15th, Mattel plans to release four Legion of Superheroes figures: Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Brainiac 5.

Marvel has been slowly putting their TV content up for streaming. They have already put up X-men Evolution (which I had a fondness for as my housemates of the time can attest) and the 70s Japanese Spider-Man. The next projust is the 90s X-men series that you probably know the theme to if you watched TV at that time at all. Take a look here: http://marvel.com/animation/

Danny Huston has been cast as Poseidon in the newly shooting Clash of the Titans. Let me remind you that this cast already includes Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, Jason Flemyng, Alexa Davalos and Izabella Miko. Some impressive names there.

There might be more out there but that's what caught my attention.

The original Clash of the Titans had Laurence Olivier (who granted was phoning in his performances by that point) and Maggie Smith, among others.

I remain dubious that they can do it right. The original is at least classic cheese. :)

I saw Alexa's name there and just kind of slipped into a "Durrrr, she's purty" moment.
