Starting on Sunday, Fox will be airing 3 60 second spots for the new Wolverine movie. They're pushing pretty hard for a movie that doesn't come out for a few more months...

There are Joker fans demanding that he NOT appear in more movies. Ever. While I'm certain that he won't be in any more of /these/ movies, it seems silly to make a petition asking that he never be in any other movies EVER.

Christopher Nolan has been hired by Warner Bros. to direct his script Inception. This should firmly table any third Batman rumors for awhile since that movie won't be out until next year at the earliest.

TV Guide has a god awful story up about Batwoman taking the lead in Detective Comics. I mean, it is just awful. *makes a face* C'mon people. can someone do a /little/ bit of research out there? I mean, if you're going to take the time to write an article....

John Malkovich has been signed to the Jonah Hex movie along side Josh Brolin. That's going to be interesting. Jonah Hex....

McG's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea movie seems to be getting rewritten and is also being fast tracked. Expect this one out next year. Wheeee?

Brian Cox, Eddie Izzard, Joely Richardson, Vanessa Redgrave and Jason Priestly are going to star in the BBC’s new Triffids. Ummmmm. I don't know how I feel about that at all. That's an interesting collection of people, there.

Nicollette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives. I have a feeling there will be more of this to come. We're reaching the end of the path here.

According to Ain’t It Cool News,the Wachowskis /might/ be currently deciding between their “Plastic Man” movie and a reboot of the “Superman” franchise. Take this with a grain of salt.

Producers of the Oscars are trying to liven up the proceedings by asking studios and others to provide scenes from future films for the end of the show.

Ok, I'll admit there were a few good parts, but I felt like I was watching Mario Kart the Movie most of the time... Plus the dialogue was just bad. (When the Snake Oiler guy says "Let's pinch this turd off" my roommate got up and left). But overall I felt they couldn't decide what kind of of movie they wanted to make. "Let's make a family film.. no wait let's make a straight adaptation of the show... no wait... let's gear it toward kids, wait, make that adults more... no wait..."

I read that TV Guide story last night and was pretty appalled. The Indy article it cribbed from wasn't much better. We shall not even speak of the comments.
