Walt Disney Studios has agreed to enter into an exclusive long-term distribution arrangement with filmmaker and DreamWorks Studios co-founder Steven Spielberg. The terms of this arrangement say that Disney will handle distribution and marketing for six DreamWorks films (give or take) each year. The first DreamWorks motion picture to be released under the Touchstone Pictures banner is scheduled to hit theaters next year.

Cartoon Network has picked up a second season of the Clone Wars animated series. It seems to play well for kids in short segments.

This next series of words will be very painful to some of you. I'm warning you ahead of time. Variety says that Rob Liefeld’s, “Youngblood,” has been acquired by a collaboration of Reliance Big Entertainment, Brett Ratner’s Rat Entertainment, and Julia Roberts’ Red Om Films. Ratner is also signed on to direct.

The Stars on the new Dancing with is enough to make me want to watch. Seriously. Check this out: Belinda Carlisle, David Alan Grier, Jewel, Shawn Johnson, Lil’ Kim, Gilles Marini,(French actor), Ty Murray, (rodeo cowboy and Jewel’s husband), Steve-O, Nancy O’Dell (“Access Hollywood” host) Denise Richards, Lawrence Taylor (NFL Hall of Famer) Chuck Wicks (country singer) and Steve Wozniak. Comedy gold, my friends. Comedy gold.

Now that I have that out of my system - and I dare you to post that bit of news on scans_daily and see how long it takes to get that same scream of horror - who wants to take bets on how long it takes before they announce that the "Youngblood" project is canceled due to a critical shortage of pouches?
